Skulls are inspired by crypto narratives, pop culture, games. As part of our #nobullshit philosophy each skull has some unique plot behind it, no meaningless random traits.
From utility perspective Genesis Skulls are one the most important parts of RektSkulls ecosystem, as only source of new essences.
After launch of MMORPG they will retain their ecosytem utilities as well as gain new game related mechanics.

Each staked skull produces random essences every week.
If the maximum supply of essences is reached, skull will produce $REKT tokens, untill new essences are available for mint.

Revealing and forking of Genesis Skulls requires burning of essences.

Once every 3-4 months the community can participate in Breaking of the Grand Seal event and release secondary NFT collection.
Specific amount of Great Essences needs to be burned in order to break the seal and release collection. Every participant who burns essence will get pro-rational part of $REKT tokens raised during secondary collection sale.
